Udhayam NH4 Tamil Movie Online

Film: Udhayam NH4
Starring: Siddharth,Ashritha Shetty,KK Menon
Director: Manimaran
Producer: Vetrimaran
Banner: Grassroot Film Company,Meeka Entertainment
Music: GV Prakash

Story
Prabhu (Siddharth) is a Tamil guy who studies engineering in Bangalore along with Rikhitha (Ashritha Shetty). One day Rikhitha gets kidnapped by Prabhu and his friends. Rikhitha’s father (Avinash), who is a Minister of Karnataka, appoints a special encounter specialist Manoj Menon (Kay Kay Menon) to trace his daughter and to kill the kidnappers. In the quest of finding the kidnappers, Manoj Menon will go through many tough challenges and many unexpected series forms the crux.
Performances
Siddharth delivers sufficient performance as Prabhu. He has left his lover boy image and sported a rugged look for the movie and delivers a restrained performance as needed.
Ashritha performed quite well and impresses with her some chubby looks and her onscreen pairing with Siddharth is most-promising.
Kay Kay Menon performed well as brutal encounter specialist who is both arrogant and intelligent also adding humor to the scenes. His romantic backdrop is quite interesting.
Technical Analysis
Velraj has done a great job in capturing chasing scenes and all songs are beautifully captured. G.V.Prakash music is an added advantage while the background score is promising for the plot. Editing by Kishore Te has been very impressive. Manimaran as a first timer impresses with his unique screenplay and neat presentation. But the screenplay falters at few moments and the basic plotline is quite simple. Dialogues are crisp and entertaining. Production values are standard.
Analysis
Manimaran should get the credits for implementing simple story into a most promising action thriller. There are few upturned situations in the movie which makes it more absurd. Poor lip sync by the lead actors should not be encouraged and this is reduced by speaking other languages like Hindi, English. The first half of the film is very entertaining with Siddharth’s friend Karthik’s comedy liners. Second half of the movie has got some immense pace with some unexpected climax.

Gouravam Tamil Movie Online

Film: Gouravam
Starring: Allu Sirish, Yami Gautam,Prakash Raj
Director: Radha Mohan
Producer: Prakash Raj
Banner: Duet Movies
Music: Thaman

Story
Arjun (Allu Sirish) moves on an expedition to find his missing friend Shanmugam. When he reaches Shanmugam’s village he finds out that his friend eloped with a girl who is of higher caste than his and is also village head Pasupati’s (Prakash Raj) daughter. Now, Arjun finds it very tough in finding his missing friend and with the help of a trainee lawyer (Yami Gautam) he will come across many unpleasant facts. Now, dealing with all these consequences forms the crux.
Performances
Allu Sirish hasn’t chosen the same old action entertainer or a love genre on his debut. As a debutant, he did an okay job but he needs to get polished in his dances, and expressions to prove his talent.
Yami Gautam has got a spotless and careful script for her Tamil debut. She holds some weighted role in this film which is very hard find and still performed well as trainee lawyer.
Prakash Raj is the only first name which draws audience to the theaters. He suits himself in showing various grey shades. He performed well as a father who in deep pain and a village head who struggles to get back the lost admiration in the society.
Technical Analysis
Just like every Radha Mohan’s film, Gouravam is also technically sound film. Cinematographer Preetha has done a fine job in capturing locales of a village. S.S.Thaman musical scores are pleasing while the background score is impressive. Alen’s editing is quite decent as this kind of movies will have nothing more to offer. Director Radha Mohan should be appreciated for taking such a gentle issue.
Analysis
Director Radha Mohan and producer Prakash Raj should get the credits for choosing such a highly sensible script and yet a decent job has done by the team. As said earlier, this kind of script should be handled logically. Debutant Allu Sirish performed well as a person who is in search of his missing friend. Gouravam has got more sentiment, action and melodrama. First half of the movie is extremely slow paced and second half suspense is quite attention-grabbing with a thought provoking climax. Its slow pace of narration is a big hitch for the film.

Yaaruda Mahesh Tamil Movie Online

Film: Yaaruda Mahesh
Starring: Sundeep Kishan,Dimple Chopade,Jayanth
Director: R.Madan Kumar
Producer: R.Madan Kumar
Banner: Color Frames,Red Studios Productions
Music: Gopi Sunder

Story
Shiva (Sundeep Kishan) falls in love with his classmate Sindhya (Dimple Chopade). Shiva impresses Sindhya and her parents for marriage and suddenly a character Mahesh creates enough fuss in Shiva’s life. Now, Shiva with the help of his friend Vasanth (Jagan) will go in the quest of finding Mahesh’s identity, forms the core part.
Performances
Sundeep Kishan, who was last seen in Maranthen Mannithen, fits himself as Shiva. His emotional expressions and single punch liners with Jagan are laudable. He performed well in dance sequences.
Dimple Chopade is just another glam doll as her role demands nothing but the skin show in songs.
Jagan is the nitty-gritty part of the show. His scenes with Sundeep are most entertaining parts of the movie. Uma Padmanabhan, Srinath and Livingston are decent in their respective roles.
Technical Analysis
Raana’s Cinematography is good and few songs were beautifully captured and Gopi Sunder’s musical scores are mediocre. While the storyline is wafer thin, the emphasis is completely on specific group of audience as it doesn’t offer anything for family audience. Screenplay is disappointing and direction is appropriate. Production values are laudable.
Analysis
Yaaruda Mahesh created enough hype required for any movie with most promising trailers but utterly failed to maintain the same impact. Director R.Madan Kumar’s approach for directing this kind of story is appreciable. First half of the movie is nothing but the verbal battle between artists, amidst an unnecessary item number makes you feel little bored. Second half completely focuses on finding Mahesh, so it leaves impressive single lined humor from Jagan and Shiva. This movie has loads of adult rated jokes which are mostly repetitive and this keeps family audience missing from watching the film.

Ethir Neechal Tamil Movie Online

Film: Ethir Neechal
Starring: Siva Karthikeyan,Priya Anand,Nandita
Director: R. S. Durai Senthilkumar
Producer: Dhanush
Banner: Wunder Bar Films
Music: Anirudh Ravichander

Story
Ethir Neechal has a very simple plot but deals with undisclosed elements of the society. Kunjithapaadham (Sivakarthikeyan) falls in love with Geetha (Priya Anand) who is a school teacher. Kunjithapaadham (Sivakarthikeyan) faces many difficulties because of his name and changes his name to Harish. He then persuades Geetha and also succeeds to get a job. After sometime trouble starts again as Geetha knows his real name and also loses his job. Now Sivakarthikeyan decides to attain the lost identity and participates in Chennai Marathon under the guidance of Valli (Nandita) and this forms the core part of the film.
Performances
Sivakarthikeyan is energetic and performed well. His single liners are absolutely pleasant and his scenes with kid to flatter Priya Anand are completely hilarious.
Priya Anand looked cute and she delivers a neat performance. Sivakarthikeyan and Priya Anand’s chemistry is a good watch.
Nanditha as Valli is impressive. Director Senthilkumar has given her a weighted role of an athlete. Other cast delivers adequate performance.
Technical Analysis
Music composed by Anirudh Ravichander is the main highlight of the film. He played a very crucial part in composing the background scores which is an added advantage. Velraj cranked the camera very well. All the songs were beautifully captured and they did a admiring job in capturing climax scenes. Kishore Te’s editing is appropriate. There is no single unnecessary scene in the movie. Screenplay by director is good and Dhanush impressed as a producer with rich production values.
Analysis
Debutant R.S.Durai Senthilkumar did a great job in converting a simple wafer thin plot into an entertaining movie. Director has dealt with undisclosed factors of athletes. First half of Ethir Neechal is moderately entertaining where the hero struggles to change his original name. His scenes in the first half with the kid and Priya Anand are enjoyable. Satish impresses with single liners as Sivakarthikeyan friend. The second half lacks the pace at few moments where Valli (Nandita) has some sentimental scenes with her father. Anirudh performed a cameo as bartender and Dhanush, Nayatara’s cameo in a song overtakes it. Overall the movie is entertaining with enjoyable comedy liners.

Soodhu Kavvum Tamil Movie Online

Film: Soodhu Kavvum
Starring: Vijay Sethupati, Sanchitha Shetty, Radha Ravi
Director: Nalan Kumarasamy
Producer: C.V. Kumar
Banner: Thirukumaran Entertainments

After kidnapping Arumai Prakasham they will face many problems in the form of terrific police. Handling and overcoming all the hurdles in this expedition form the core part of the movie.
Performances
Vijay Sethupati performs a stunning performance as Das. He plays the key role and most promising performance by him is always watchable. We can expect even more from him in future.
Sanchitha Shetty is just glamour doll in this film. She plays a decent imaginary friend of Das.
Simhaa performed well as innocent guy and Ramesh and Karuna karan delivers more than adequate performances. CJ.Bhaskaran, Radha Ravi and Ranjith are appropriate.
Technical Analysis
Santosh Narayan’s has delivered great music for Soodhu Kavvum. All the songs were well received and background score for Soodhu Kavvum is pleasing. Cinematography by Dinesh Krishnan is visually rich except for pre climax scene. Nalan Kumarasamy impresses with his directorial debut film. Screenplay is engaging and gripping, dialogues are effective, Editing is crisp.
Analysis
Nalan Kumarasamy should get credits for mold such a simple plot into an astonishing entertainer. Director has done a great job in dealing story with a great ease. Though the story is straightforward and effective screenplay makes the movie plot unpredictable. Simhaa, RJ Ramesh and Karuna Karan steals the show along with most promising actor of recent times Vijay Sethupati. Soodhu Kavvum deals with effects of being honest with the political people. The only problem with Soodhu Kavvum is that it may send some off beam signs for some category of people.
Final Verdict
Soodhu Kavvum is another gripping entertainer from Pizza makers.

Neram Tamil Movie Online

Film: Neram
Starring: Nivin Pauly,Nazriya Nazim,Simhaa
Director: Alphonse Putharen
Producer: Sukumar
Banner: Winner Bulls Films
Music: Rajesh Murugesan

Story
Based on this simple premise, the story takes us through the life of a young, jobless computer engineer called Vetri, who borrowed some money from a man called Vetti Raja, a feared money-lender, to get his sister married.
Vetti Raja wouldn't spare a soul when it comes to collecting his money back from his debtors. So when Vetri fails to repay monthly interest on time, Vetti Raja gives him an ultimatum to return the money by a certain evening, the rejection of which will result in death. Sucked into the race against time, how does Vetri arrange for the money? This forms the rest of the story.
Performances
Nivin and Nazriya as the lead pair bring life into the film. The duo did an impressive job making their mark.
Nassar as Dhandapani is perfect while Thambi Ramaiah provide us with few moments of laughter. His phone conversation scenes with John Vijay as Sub inspector Katta are comic. Simhaa and Ramesh are effective in their respective roles.
Technical Analysis
The film is backed by a deft screenplay and features effortless performances by a relatively new cast. The film's biggest strength is its crisp and short (one hour and 57 minutes) narration, but its music by debutant Rajesh Murugesan also gives us a cinematic experience worth every buck.
Alphonse, at the helm of the affairs, also earns equal credit for his work as an editor. Cinematography by Anand Chandran is top notch and leaves the audiences in awe, especially during the slow-motion sequences that boast finesse.
Analysis
"Neram" tops a list of films that come once in a while to make us believe that Tamil cinema is not dead. Surprisingly, it's the first-time filmmakers, not the veterans any longer, who are keeping this industry alive and redefining entertainment with better craftsmanship.
Call it the impact of Hollywood or the arrival of better days, but the future of this industry rests on the shoulders of filmmakers such as Karthik Subbaraj, Nalan Kumarasamy and the director of "Neram", Alphonse Putharen.
It is believed that there is good and bad time in our lives and both has important parts to play. There is absolutely nothing new about the story, yet what differentiates "Neram" from other films is its brilliant non-linear screenplay, never seen before in Tamil cinema. The film grows on you very gradually despite its brooding first half, but what follows post interval is top class and is worth every applaud or hoot that came its way. With few key characters that are made to run into each other at one point, the film allows for some subtle humour to unfold.
What's even more exciting is the fact that everything takes place in a day in and around a place called Mandaveli. Even when these characters are close they don't come in contact until it's time to meet. And when they meet eventually, we know that the time is not good for someone. Time plays a crucial role in the lives of all the characters. We infer from the film that everything is plucked away from you when it's bad time, but it's returned later when the time is good.
"Neram" also reminds us of the cycle of karma and help understand that life is a vicious cycle where bad is followed by good and vice versa.
Final Verdict
Neram redefines entertainment providing you a fun ride!!!

Kutti Puli Tamil Movie Online

Film: Kutti Puli
Starring: Sasikumar,Lakshmi Menon,Saranya
Director: G Bhoopathy Pandian
Producer: Muruganandham
Banner: Village Theatres
Music: Gibran

Story
Kutti Puli (Sasikumar) lost his father at a young age in a local gang rivalry, and since then has been raised single-handedly by his mother, who fears that he will grow up to be just like his father. Unfortunately, he does grow up to be like his father and even picks up the same traits that got him killed. No matter how hard the mother tries, her efforts only prove futile because Puli lives by his own principles. However, she believes if she could get him married then probably he may turn responsible and take control of his life. But Puli is against marriage because he believes that with so many people who wish to see him dead, his future wife may have live like his mother, who was left behind by his father. What makes Puli have a change of heart and eventually agree to marry? This forms the rest of the story.
Performances
Sasikumar is again seen in an angry young man avatar with a good side that needs to be awakened. Even though he played his role with ease and confidence, he is starting to get repetitive with his choice of films.
Lakshmi Menon plays her part well and her on screen chemistry with Sasikumar is quite decent.
Saranya Ponvannan hardly has any part to play besides crying in every other scene, while Prabha, who makes a comeback after a long hiatus, has an equally unsatisfying part.
Technical Analysis
Ghibran’s background score is too lousy and he has stirred all the old songs as background scores. Cinematographer Mahesh Muthuswamy did a decent job and editor should have trimmed movie in the second half to maintain same pace throughout the movie and it lacks. The screenplay falters at times and the basic plot line is quite simple. Dialogues are crisp and entertaining and production values are standard.
Analysis
Debutant director Muthaiah has played the sentimental card extremely well to keep the audiences hooked through certain emotional moments. The film very subtly highlights that two most important women in our lives are mother and wife, who have very pivotal parts to play. You will also notice that the film is high on elements commonly found in Sasikumar's films such as friendship, revenge, family, witty one-liners and lots of blood and gore. While all the elements have been used appropriately at regular intervals, one doesn't find anything new to be excited about.
The film struggles in the second half and unnecessarily gets dragged by songs and few clichéd fight sequences. Kutti Puli also reminds us of the fact that Sasi is no longer an actor, but a commercial hero with mass following because he now has a typical hero entry scene welcomes by hoots and applauds.

Theeya Velai Seiyyanum Kumaru Tamil Movie Online

Film: Theeya Velai Seiyyanum Kumaru
Starring: Siddharth Narayan, Hansika , Santhanam
Director: Sundar C
Producer: Kushboo
Banner: Avani Cinemax ,UTV Motion Pictures
Music: Satya C
Story
Kumar (Siddharth), a young guy works as an IT employee who feels difficult to speak to women. He admires his colleague (Ganesh Venkartraman) where every woman falls for him. Sanjana (Hansika) steps into the same IT firm and Kumar falls for her. He takes the advice of love guru Mokia (Santhanam) to score good marks near Sanjana. Will Kumar be successful in love? What does the love guru do forms the story.
Performances
Siddharth as Kumar delivers his best, and he has selected the right script that works well for the comedy. He has done his part extremely well.
Hansika has a good role, she looked glamorous and as always doesn’t fail to impress with her expressions. Her body language, comedy and showing innocence in her role works big time.
Santhanam is an asset for the film. With his comic timing, expressions, one-liners dialogue delivery he steals the show. The scenes featuring him are quite hilarious. Other cast Ganesh Venkatram, Mano Bala, Devadarshini, Bosskey, Vidyu Raman have all done their roles well.
Technical Analysis
Satya’s songs are peppy and they have been shot well. The visuals are rich especially in the song Azhagendral. However, the songs were speed breakers haltering the film’s pace. Cinematography is fine, while Praveen and Srikanth’s editing is crisp. Sundar C’s story isn’t unique but the screenplay is smartly penned though predictable in the latter half at times. Production values are standard.
Analysis
Theeya Valai Seyyanam Kumaru sticks to its comedy genre and is sure to entertain you and provide ample laughs. The story is simple and looks like the main idea inspired from classic comedy Basu Chatterjee's Chhoti Si Baat (1975) in which Ashok Kumar plays love guru.
Sundar C’s smart screenplay makes the film fresh, funny and entertaining. TVSK works for its screenplay and perfect casting. Siddharth, Hansika’s chemistry, Santhanam’s fun-filled role as love guru are assets of the film. Also, the movie is neatly packaged with no double-entendre dialogues and humor has been built into the story with good twists and twirls.
The first half of the film is racy and entertaining, while the second half is lengthy and tuns predictable. Nevertheless, the proceedings don’t fail to bring smiles.

Thillu Mullu Tamil Movie Online

Film: Thillu Mullu
Starring: Shiva, Prakash Raj, Isha Talwar
Director: Badri
Producer: S.Madhan
Banner: Vendhar Movies
Music: M. S. Viswanathan, Yuvan Shankar Raja

Story
In search of a job to support his sister and find a groom for her, Pasupathy (Shiva) lands in the office of Shivagurunathan (Prakash Raj), chairman of a water purification company. With his obedience and piousness, Pasupathy wins over Shivagurunathan and eventually lands a job as marketing head.
Pasupathy is not the same man when he steps out of the office. He smokes, drinks and occasionally gets involved in bar brawls. When Shivagurunathan comes to learn about his original identity, Pasupathy's job is at stake.
To save his job being terminated, he convinces his boss that he must have mistaken him with his cat-eyed twin brother, who is exactly opposite to him in behaviour - rebellious and uncivilized.
The rest of the story is all about how Pasupathy continues to fool his boss without blowing his own cover. Will Shivagurunathan ever come to know about Pasupathy's hidden identity? This forms the climax.
Performances
Shiva and Prakash Raj shoulder the film with equal responsibility. I believe they were brilliant in their respective roles, but hardly do they get any support from the rest of the cast.
Isha Talwar, though, in her limited screen time, did her best to get noticed and I think she succeeded.
Analysis
Based on the 1981 Tamil comedy "Thillu Mullu", comes the new version of the film with the same name that appears to be a half-hearted tribute to the original. One of the glaring differences between the two versions is the treatment of comedy. While in the original it was sensible and funny, it is loud and commercial in the remake. Despite a few rib-tickling moments between Shiva and Prakash Raj, "Thillu Mullu" suffers due to extended running time and skewed screenplay.
Some of the best moments and lines are between Shiva and Prakash Raj in the film. Barring these moments, rest of the scenes don't evoke laughter. In fact, it turns annoying, especially scenes involving Kovai Sarla, who seems to be getting louder with each movie.
Sequences in the original were genuinely funny and never forced you to laugh. The remake fails miserably on this front as it attempts to make every single line as witty as possible with cliched references. Never ending second half and extended climax bores the audience.

Ambikapathy Tamil Movie Online

Film: Ambikapathy
Starring: Dhanush, Sonam Kapoor, Abhay Deol
Director: Anand L Rai
Producer: Krishika Lulla
Banner: Eros International
Music: A.R.Rehman
Stiry
What's a love story without some fun, heartaches and reality checks? Most love stories of our times pass through these three phases, and by then, either the girl or the boy realises they're not meant to be together, and move on with their lives.
However, in some rare cases, we see a love story enter the fourth phase - when you realise that love doesn't age, but people do in a relationship.
Anand L. Rai's "Ambikapathy", the Tamil dubbed version of "Raanjhanaa", is a simple love story of a small-town boy and a girl, who in the process of figuring out the thin line between love and friendship, uncover stronger feelings for each other.
We've had oodles of love stories focusing on the communal divide between the lovers, but "Ambikapathy" is largely about the divide in the ideologies of the youth of modern India. It's the story of small town values versus urban philosophies.
What happens when a girl with city-intellect is pitted against the conventional yet archaic values of a small-town boy in the name of love? This is what precisely Rai depicts in this breezy entertainer packed with pain, laughs and little melodrama.
"Ambikapathy" scores an ace in two departments - casting and music. There would have been a third one if the second half was shorter and less melancholic. Spearheaded by Dhanush, who was irreplaceable in his role, and a brilliant supporting cast of Swara and Ayub, the film helps Sonam unleash her acting prowess.
Rahman's music, needless to say, becomes an integral part of the film's composition and helps us connect with the soul of the film.
Just like his previous film "Tanu Weds Manu", Rai's second directorial venture celebrates life in the alleys of Benaras, on the banks of the Ganga, giving us a slice-of-life of small town adventures.
Some of the best moments come from the scenes between Dhanush, Ayub and Swara. The camaraderie between them may pop up question in many as to how could two guys use a girl for their whims and fancies, but if you look at it from a small-town's point of view, it's one of the best friendship moments ever captured on screen.
You could easily write-off Rai's protagonist, who like a love-struck puppy, stalks Sonam Kapoor, but it doesn't rule out the probability that most small-town love stories are akin to what was portrayed to us. If you haven't known a friend who cut his wrist or ever attempted suicide over love, then it's unlikely that you will understand what lies beneath the layers of the emotion.
For people who attach only a love story tag to "Ambikapathy", there is so much you didn't understand in the film or could've gotten bored with because of the disengaging second half.
Love is merely used as a tool to help us understand the complexity of modern-day relationships (including father-daughter or father-son) and politics.
There are two heroes in the film - Dhanush and A.R. Rahman, and both wear the south Indian label like a medal of honour and never allow it come in between their work. With his flawless performance as a Benarasi Brahmin boy, Dhanush kicks all the south Indian cliches out of the window, while Rahman helps us connect with the film more on an emotional level

Annakodi Tamil Movie Online

Film: Annakodi
Starring: Karthika Nair, Lakshman Narayan, Manoj Bharathiraja
Director: Bharathiraja
Producer: Manoj Bharathiraja
Banner: Manoj Creations
Music: GV Prakash Kumar

Story
Annakodi and Kodiveeran, young residents of two neighboring villages, fall in love with each other at first sight. As much as they want to be together, life has something else for them in store and so do the evil village head and his son Sadaiyan, who want to separate them. What is the fate of these hapless lovers? This forms the rest of the story.
Performances
Karthika, daughter of Bharathiraja’s protégé Radha, impresses in his role sans make up and glamour, while the male protagonist Lakshman is equally fitting but turns little cumbersome in the most emotional scenes of the film.
Manoj Bharathi in a role with shades of grey is brilliant. One needs guts to shed his hero image and take up such roles. He deserves two thumbs up for the role that unfortunately doesn’t shoulder the fate of the film.
Analysis
Veteran filmmaker Bharathiraja wields the megaphone after five years. One of the highly respected directors in the industry, he is known for his long association with films set against the village backdrop. Over the years, he has explored some bold and funny themes, mostly village based. "Annakodi" happens to be another village love story from the veteran’s factory that takes us to a bygone era to tell us a story we have known for years.
It’s not because we are bored of village flicks, but rarely does “Annakodi” keeps the audiences engaged and that’s why it miserably fails. From a village’s point of view, the film might work for a few but it has nothing to offer to the city bred, Bollywood and Hollywood exposed cinephiles.
It treads a path most village flicks have done in the past. That people in villages are still doomed by caste and creed, and love is something they don’t see with a fresh pair of eyes. We can’t disagree but neither can we appreciate it because we have been fed similar stories for decades now.
The film and its characters bear lot of resemblance to the director’s own debut classic “16 Vayathinile”, which featured Sridevi, Kamal Haasan and Rajinikanth. Bharathiraja seems to have tweaked the story with fresh faces and some soulful music, hoping audiences would embrace it. Unfortunately, the effort backfires and questions the credibility of the director, who has given numerous blockbusters such as “Muthal Mariyathai” and “Kizhakku Cheemayile”.
There is no closure given to the love that was kindled in first half. It gets lost amidst elements such as violence, tragedy and sentiment that engulf the second half, forcing audiences to search for love and romance in the process.
Even though the film progresses at decent pace, it fails to connect with the audience on an emotional level. The story lacks depth and passion needed for narrating an emotionally compelling story.
Bharathiraja chooses to narrate the story in flashback, from the point of view of one of his characters. It makes an instant connection with the viewers, but doesn’t last long to leave an impact. You need to force yourself to sit through the film, let alone hope to be entertained.
Final Verdict
Bharathiraja takes back in time but doesn’t quite make us feel the soul of his village pot-boiler.

Singam 2 Tamil Movie Online

Film: Singam 2
Starring: Suriya,Hansika,Anushka
Director: Hari
Producer: S.Lakshman Kumar
Banner: Studio Green
Music: Devi Sri Prasad

Story
The story takes off with the clippings of Singam from where it ended. Duraisingam (Surya) joins as NCC school teacher in Thoothukudi following the orders of Minister working as undercover agent. He tracks the illegal activities of criminal networks and gets to know the smuggling activities of Bhai (Mukesh Rishi). He takes charge as DSP once he gets the needed evidences and in this regard he comes across international drug dealer Danny? How does he trap him and bashes up the baddies forms the rest of the story.
Performances
Suriya carries the film on his shoulders and he brings out the required body language and needed energy for his powerful role as a cop. He is a charmer and conveys much through eye expressions and shows his terrific screen presence. He lives up to the expectations bringing intensity to his character.
Hansika delivers a decent performance and her role in the film connects to the main plot. Anushka is glamorous but shares screen space just for the songs.
Vivek and Santham entertains in their hilarious roles, Vijay Kumar bags good role as minister, Rahman, Mukesh Rishi and Danny delivers what is required.
Technical Analysis
Priyan’s cinematography is on top rate capturing the beautiful Tuticorin and the South African locales. The songs have been shot well, though DSP tunes are mediocre except from the soothing ‘Puriyavillai’ number. Background score is not so impressive. V.T Vijayan and Jay’s editing could have been better.  Screenplay is racy though predictable.
Analysis
Director Hari has planned to make Singam 2 as racy as possible and incorporate loads of commercial elements. But it has turned overdose in the second half of the film. Despite weaving it with racy and taut screenplay, overdose of action and too many negative characters, it turns repetitive. The lighter scenes are more enjoyable than the loud and numerous action sequences.
Vivek and Santhanam provides some relief to this non-stop action entertainer. Santhanam makes it entertaining in the scenes like Kamal’s Viswaroopam, Gangnam dance moves,, Arabian Kudirai episode.
The initial scenes of first half drag on but the story picks up pace when Suriya takes charge as DSP and the interval is quite good while the second half has more racy screenplay. Climax is yet another downer.
Predictability plays a spoilsport to this commercial mass entertainer though the proceedings are racy.

Mariyaan Tamil Movie Online

Film: Mariyaan
Starring: Dhanush,Parvathy Menon
Director: Bharat Bala
Producer: Venu Ravichandran
Banner: Aascar Films
Music: A.R.Rahman
Story
Mariyaan, a young fisherman who is spirited and shares a bond with sea earns his livelihood with his exceptional skills. He falls in love with Panimalar (Parvathi) and this leads Maryan to leave to Sudan for the employment sake as a contract worker. Two years passes away and when he is about to return to embrace dreamt future, he along with his friend workers gets kidnapped by a terror group. Things turn worse with the proceedings and will Maryan be able to cross the boundaries and reach his lady love forms the rest.
Performances
Dhanush as always is exceptional delivering finest performance, putting up loads of physical strain into the role. He is mastered in articulating pain that immediately connects to the viewers. The stunts are so innovative that he performs to the perfection.
Parvathy Menon looks natural and blows audiences with her peasant and charming look. She breezes freshness into the character conveying through her eyes.
Appukutty is brilliant as as Sakkarai and Jagan is good as Sami, Salim is wasted in a poor role, Christopher Minnie is impressive. Others were adequate.
Technical Analysis
Cinematography is phenomenal and the visuals leave you breathtaking and awe-struck. AR Rahman’s music is stellar and mellifluous. Songs like Nenje ezhu, Kadal Rasa visuals are impressive. Kadal Rasa is wonderfully filmed. Joe D Cruz’s dialogues are okay while editing could’ve been better. Production values are good
Analysis
Bharat Bala, the ad filmmaker donned the director's hat for a feature film for first time and he opted for a tricky script high on intense drama. He has done research on this realistic incident and although he impresses with the story, Bharat Bala falls a bit short of the mark with its narration in the latter half. Besides the main plot, the love story forms the focal point to the proceedings and both the lead stars deliver their best. The chemistry between Dhanush and Parvathy Menon manages to bring warmth and tenderness. The conversation scenes are all well-written.
Dhanush yet again excels in his role. Be it romantic scenes, the breathtaking stunts or the emotional scenes like grieving for his friend’s loss, the actor gets everything right.
Maryan has also its share of blemishes, the narrative slows down in the second half. The screenplay is slightly sluggish in the second half and it looks lengthy with slow pace. Few scenes like the Cheetah scene could have been edited while the climax looked stereotypical and forced.

What was the reason behind Vishal’s whip with Poilce and local goons? How will Vishal manage to pull himself out of issues with city don? forms the crux of Pattathu Yaanai…
Performances:
Vishal’s performance is good. As Saravanan, he managed well to handle the situations, but couldn't match up to his Thimiru fame.
Aishwarya Arjun has just been a walking doll, proving Pattathu Yaanai to be her debut and the actress has to improve her performance, especially dance.
Santhanam has done his parts well and has handled the situations with his comic timing. Santhanam takes the pride in highly supporting Pattathu Yaanai with his comedy, specially in the second half.
Jegan and John Vijay have supported the movie with their comedy acts. John Vijay tried to portray himself as a comic villain.
Technical Analysis:
Pattathu Yaanai is just one more regular commercial action-comedy entertainer from Boopathy Pandian, seemingly a half-baked cake.
Nothing new in Thaman’s music, and the back ground music by Sabesh Murali is also average.
Fight master Anal Arasu’s choreography is laudable. But there are only 3 fights in Pattathu Yaanai, which failed to portray Vishal as an action hero.
Analysis:
Director Boopathy Pandian is back with Pattathu Yaanai that seems to be a commercial entertainer missing to show off some of the essentials. In the first half of the movie, director has just plotted the roles; while second half leads to serious fights and climax with comedy tracks.
With the not so gripping technical aspects, Pattathu Yaanai is out with average performances yet good comedy and timing by Santhanam. The film starts and ends with Santhanam which is the only thing that helps in favor of Pattathu Yaanai.

Blade Shankar as Shiva’s friend is yet another promising RJ turn actor. Sam Anderson’s cameo is fun to watch. While other cast Vathsala Patti a tetchy grandma, Meera a usual mom has done their parts well.

Debutant director, Krishnan Jayaraj has to go a long way in making fairly understandable movies. Being an assistant of director CS Amudhan, Krishnan’s debut Sonna Puriyaadhu follows few inches of Tamizh Padam,
Background scores and music by Yatish Mahadev is average except “Kelu Magane Kelu” track. Saravanan’s DOP is fair and clean. TS Suresh’s editing was pretty in the first half compared to the second.

Amala Paul has given her best and the interval bang needs a special mention. Amala managed to equal her dancing levels with Ilayathalapathy as his dance partner.

Veteran Satyaraj is outstanding as Vijay’s father and leader. Ragini Nandwani is gorgeous in meaty role. Abhimanyu Singh is ok but Nassar is wasted.
Technical Analysis:
AL Vijay has engaged audiences with slow screenplay and well executed twists in Thalaiavaa but failed to present few scenes that ended in reviewing of evergreen classis way reminding viewers of Nayagan and Thevar magan.
GV Prakash Kumar’s background is not as appealing as Thalaivaa music album especially some scenes were not so appealing because of poor BGM.
Nirav Shah’s cinematography is felt throughout the film. Editor Anthony could have trimmed the second half, because it is slow pace and more ethics.
Analysis:
Most of the first half of Thalaivaa is taken in Australia, based on the script that Vijay is a professional dancer there. Followed by Sathyaraj [a local leader] scenes were captured in Chennai suburbs.
Thalaivaa’s first half is breezy compared to second half, due to the good on-screen chemistry of Ilayathalapathy and Amala Paul along with Santhanam’s comedy and hair raising interval bang. Vijay, Amala Paul and Santhanam are the assets f Thalaivaa, besides probable screenplay and GV Prakash’s misplaced background scores and last but not least AL Vijay’s ever-liking slow pace taking.
Unlike other Vijay films, Thalaivaa is a clean entertainer with not many action scenes and fights. Thalaivaa has upbeat first half ,with a hold in second half by means of a bit serious into script leading to climax alongside Ilayathalapathy dance and cool dude looks.
Final Verdict:
Thalaivaa is a well able tale with quite predictable screenplay…

Santhosh in the role of a college student is ample, but has scope to learn. Debutant is praiseworthy in the parts, when he cuts his wrist with a broken bottle.
Turn to Manisha Yadav, her performance looks like a sequel to Vazhakku Enn 18/9 with the variations in her act as vivacious college girl in the first half and emotional wrong stepped teenager in the second half.
Jayaprakash and Thulasi stood out with their performances as doting parents to Swetha. Arjun of ‘Kaadhalil Sodhappuvadhu Yeppadi’ fame is highly entertaining with gang of friends.
Even though she has very less to perform, Poornima Bhagyaraj has comeback with valuable act that is feast to watch on-screen.

Suseenthiran has again proved his hands on direction, story writing and screenplay, as Aadhalaal Kaadhal Seiveer is a thought-awakening teenage romance film with only 106mins running time.
Yuvan Shankar Raja has given a gripping music and background scores that has taken Aadhalaal Kaadhal Seiveer a step higher. Especially in the last 30mins and the ending titles, Yuvan’s vocals have made magic.

Analysis:
Aadhalaal Kaadhal Seiveer is sure to leave a lump on audiences being a thought provoking film, both for parents as well as children. Suseenthiran not stopped with a teenage romance but excelled in promoting his notion on commonly circulating problems around it.

Desingu Raja Tamil Movie Online

Film: Desingu Raja
Starring: Vimal,Bindu Madhavi
Director: Ezhil
Producer: Madhan
Banner: Escape Artist Motion Pictures
Music: D.Imman
 story
This is the love story of Idhayakani (Vimal) and Thamarai (Bindu), who belong to different families which share a warring rivalry for generations. Will love between the young couple triumph over familial hatred? This forms the rest of the story.
Since time immemorial, we have had films with a similar storyline. I wonder what makes "Desingu Raja" any different from any of these films that have come over the years, except for the cast and some earnest comedy.
It's an unambitious film on a mission to entertain its viewers with full-length comedy. Honestly, it doesn't succeed in its mission because the forced humour works for a few minutes, but after a while it really tests your patience.
Vimal and Bindu scored a hit earlier this year with a film called "Kedi Billa Killadi Ranga", and the makers of "Desingu Raja" were under the impression that the pair will elevate the film with their presence and help it succeed. But, the truth is that the last time that this couple appeared on screen, their presence was complemented by a decent storyline, which is completely missing in the case of this film.
While a crop of new filmmakers are trying to tread never-explored territories of filmmaking with films such as "Neram" and "Pizza", films such as the one in discussion and several more have been heavily relying on comedy. I agree the success rate of comedy films is high vis-a-vis other genre films, but eventually the fate of a film depends on its story.
Director Ezhil, who's been in the industry for over a decade, barely displays a streak of brilliance. In fact, the film raises questions such as - "Has Ezhil lost his directorial spark?", as one walks home after watching film. He has undoubtedly made a couple of good rural entertainers over the years, but he seriously needs to move on and try different films.
Vimal too has been typecast for village-based roles. Even though he has played them to perfection, it is getting extremely boring to see him in similar roles. He should look at doing different films outside of comedy genres and gauge the reception of his fans. I'm positive that people will welcome him with open hearts.
Bindu Madhavi is trading her pretty looks for portraying similar roles. She is more comfortable wearing a half-sari and playing a village belle than trying something unconventional.
It's perfectly alright to skip "Desingu Raja" if you still haven't watched it. For those who have already watched it, I feel sorry for you, truly.

Ponmaalai Pozhudhu Tamil Movie Online

Film: Ponmaalai Pozhudhu
Starring: Aadhav Kannadasan,Gayathrie
Director: AC Durai
Producer: Amirtha Gowri
Banner: AG Creations
Music: C.Sathya
story
Both the films pretty much deal about the attitude of modern-day youth in love, friendship, sex and their relationship with their parents.
"Ponmaalai Pozhudhu" is a lazy attempt on a theme that needed mature performances and equally good screenplay. Despite trying to not sound preachy, it fails to keep the audiences hooked due to its dragged narration.
The film highlights the thin line that divides infatuation and love. It highlights how an increasing number of today's youngsters consider infatuation and love as one and the same. Simultaneously, the film also focuses on the role of parents in their child's upbringing, especially their teenage sons and daughters.
I loved the fact that the film subtly gives more importance to parenting than merely focusing on the teenage romance of its protagonists. It points out that most youngsters resort to doing what they are not supposed to do since they have been opposed by their parents. It instantly reminds us of our days as youngsters and when we did things that were considered taboo by our parents.
To underline the importance of parenting, director Durai creates two extremely opposite father characters of the boy and girl, respectively. Aadhav's father is an understanding parent who satisfies every small need of his growing son, while Gayathrie's father doubts every action of his teenage daughter.
Unfortunately, PP lets its viewers down with a flawed execution. The time it spends to make its lead characters understand their emotions and come to terms with themselves, is a long wait and so not worth it. One wishes the film was shorter. The songs could have been done away with as they were not just a distraction, but a complete turn off.
Aadhav and Gayathrie hit it off as an aimless young pair, but miss the energy to create ripples with their performances. Kishore and Anupama Kumar as Aadhav's parents are the best characters in the entire film. Scenes between them were a treat to watch, while the scenes featuring Kishore and Aadhav, despite being melodramatic, were powerful.
Music by C. Sathya doesn't even qualify to be called average. The jarring background score only added to the woes of the viewers, who were already bored by the film's narration.
Sadly, "Ponmaalai Pozhudhu" would only be remembered for its flaws even though it has some plus points.

Thanga Meengal Tamil Movie Online

Film: Thanga Meengal
Starring: Ram,Sadhana,Shelly Kishore
Director: Ram
Producer: Gautham Menon,Reshma Ghatala
Banner: Photon Kathaas
Music: Yuvan Shankar Raja

Story:
Kalyanasundaram [Ram] is an innocent man and lives every breath of his daughter Chellamma. Kalyani [Kalyanasundaram] is not so good at making money and struggles to gratify childish wishes of his daughter, studying in a private school. As story progresses, Kalyanasundaram faces financial constraints, who is already being supported by his father played by Poo Ram.
Here is a twist in the tale, which leads Kalyanasundaram part from Challamma after being humiliated by his father. What’s the twist and why did father-daughter separate? Watch Thanga Meengal for the rest…
Performances:
Director Ram is apt in the role of Kalyanasundaram. Director-actor has proved his mettle as a promising character artiste for Tamil cinema. Ram’s performance in the sentimental scenes is one of the highlights of Thanga Meengal.
Sadhana is a perfect pick for the role of an innocent primary school girl supported by her purity and childishness, and flawless show by Sanjana too.
Shelly Kishore as Chellamma’s mother delivered a convincing performance and her noteworthy act as a dependent homemaker is good to watch. Poo Ram is at his best.
Technical Analysis:
Ram has proved his talent to be here in Kollywood. Director, who has stepped into Tamil films with Katrathu Tamizh, will be listed as one among the top filmmakers of the industry after Thanga Meengal.
Director Gautham Menon, who is upbeat in showcasing fatherhood, has generously produced Thanga Meengal under his Photon Kathaas banner along with RS Infotainment banner.
Yuvan Shankar Raja, who has recently released his 100th music album, has proved he is appropriate for his title ‘young maestro’. Of all songs in Thanga Meengal, 'Aanandha Yaazhai' track is masterpiece, which awfully portrays cycle journey of father-daughter on a cliff.
Even though Thanga Meengal is shot in real environments around Trichy, Arabindhu Saara’s cinematography has brought a fresh beauty to the atmosphere with worth watching long cycle drives amongst greeneries that has to be experienced at-least once in a life.
Analysis:
Thanga Meengal is an ideal stitch of father’s emotions towards his child. Ram has perfectly blended this along with a sensitive appeal of teachers’ discrimination below to average students in the public schools.
Ram and Sadhana have apparently carried Thanga Meengal on their shoulders with their watertight act and are equally supported by other cast in the film. The twist in the second half and the climax screenplay needs a special mention.
Apart from few instances of Thanga Meengal, overall movie is racy. Though the script is not new-fangled and no famous casting in the film, only dialogues and taking has made them all, shored up by Yuvan Shankar Raja’s soothing orchestration, well supported camera and editing works helped in the upbeat of Thanga Meengal.
