Story
The story begins with Sunil, actor
narrating a story to director Posani. Bava (Allari Naresh),
Purushottam(Raju Sundaram), Ajay (Kick Shyam) and Shiva (Vaibhav) are
the best friends from childhood. With Ajay getting married to his lady
love Shruthi (Sheena), the four friends plan for a trip and heads to Goa
for the bachelor party. After reaching the place the four friends get
drunk in the late night and have fun and when they wake up in the
morning with a hangover, they find one among them going missing. What
happened to the one guy, and what did they do the previous night ? Did
the other friends find him forms the crux.
Performances
Allari Naresh has done
the role with ease, and as always he rocks with his comic timing but the
film offers nothing new for him. Raju Sundaram is hilarious with his
antics and he brings out few laughs while Vaibhav and Kick Shyam are
effective in their neat roles. Sudeep is brief but entertaining. Neelam
Upadhyay looked good alongside Naresh while Sneha Ullal adds the oomph
factor to the film. Brahmanamdam as Magnet Mama, M.S.Narayana with his
spoofs are adequate while Bharat is wasted in a poor role.
Technical Analysis
Cinematography by Sarvesh Murari and
Stereographer Keith drever delivers their best extending support to
director’s ideas for the 3D format, the visuals are quite colorful and
the 3D effect gives a whole new experience. Music by Bappa-Bappi Lahari
is okay and the background score by Sunny is good. Editing is poorly
done while the screenplay loses its pace. Production values are rich and
lavish.
Analysis
Action 3D storyline is almost similar to
Hangover flick and even the dialogues and screenplay reminds you of
several other Bollywood films. Audiences who watched Hangover will not
like Action 3D. However, the 3D effects scenes give a new experience to
the audiences and the songs are interestingly shot. The performances of
the cast are good but the director could have taken care on screenplay
and dialogue for an effective output. The comedy was outdated and absurd
while logic goes for a toss with many loopholes in the screenplay. The
first half of the film has poor comedy scenes and the pace drops at
times while the second half picks up momentum but the climax again loses
its pace. The film offers a good watching experience with its 3D
format.
Final Verdict
Watch it to experience the 3D effects on screens…
