Murali), a software engineer who also gets rejected by a lady. The duo

four times with four girls Vaidehi (Simran), Mumtaz (Sakshi) Stacy
(Rachel) and Mary (Anupriya). Will the duo give up their suicide idea
and win their love forms the crux.
Performances
Manchu Manoj shows his extreme energetic
levels in his acting skills. He has imitated Mohan Babu at times but he
could have toned down his mannerisms to fit into the role better.
The film has four leading ladies. Simran
Kaur is glamorous while Rachel fails to impress. Both Simran and Rachel
got cameo roles. Anu Priya is impressive and emotes well while Sakshi
Chowdary haven’t got good characterization.
Posani Krishna Murali is entertaining while Ali, Raghu Babu, Rajesh are okay. Others were adequate.
Technical Analysis
Achu composed music is asset for the
film while the background score is impressive. Cinematography is neat
and editing is crisper. Dialogues are witty and gel well with masses.
Pawan Wadeyar scores in direction. Production values are good.
Analysis
Potugadu is packed with good
entertainment and racy screenplay in the first half. Director has
incorporated five love stories in the film. However, due to the run
length the stories fail to connect emotionally but the double-entendre
dialogues will connect well with the masses. Interval block is
impressive. Second half could have been racier like the first half. The
third story with Rachel isn’t properly established. Music is an
additional asset for the film and Pyar Mein Padipoya, Devatha are
visually pleasing. Potugadu offers commercial elements action, comedy,
romance and pleasing music but the film is loud and lacks logic which
might not go well specific audiences.
Final Verdict
Mass Entertainer!!! Worth a watch
