Story

The story takes off with a fire blast and Arjun (Kalyanram) who gets saved in the blast narrates his story. He is the only son of Harishchandra Prasad (Karthik) who is a businessman and Sitara. Arjun and his father share a great bond and when their family’s chief enemy and local politician Byrreddy (Rao Ramesh) attacks Harishchandra Prasad, Arjun keeps saving his father. Anjali (Kriti Kharbandha) enters into Arjun’s life and the latter falls for her charm. Rhea (Nikisha Patel) daughter of Harischandra Prasad’s close friend Ashok also comes into the picture. Arjun decides to go against his father wish of marrying Rhea and in this regard he comes to know some shocking twists that he was betrayed by his own people.

Performances

Kalyan Ram appears in a simple look and he delivers good performance in action sequences. The actor has done similar revenge stories earlier and Om gets added to the list but does nothing for him.

Nikesha Patel opts for glamorous look and oozes oomph into her role sporting a single piece bikini.

Krithi Kharbhanda impresses in her cute role. Karthik tends to go overboard at times, but leaves a strong impression though. Suresh is good, Rao Ramesh is decent. Others like Ahuthi Prasad, Sampath are okay.

Technical Analysis

Cinematography by Ajayan Vincent is attractive, while editing is inconsistent. Background score elevates the scenes to an extent. Sunil Reddy’s direction skills are okay but he could have focused on story and screenplay which failed to impress. VFX works are poor. 3D shots in the film are good. Production values are standard.

Analysis

Om is technically a better film and the 3D shots in the movie has come out quite well but why the film has been made in 3D format in the first place remains as an unanswered question for this usual revenge drama. The shots don’t add value to the script rather the needless use of 3D that ends up adding insensitivity and artificiality.

Apart from the 3D shots and cinematography along with a couple of twists, nothing impresses in Om. The story is yet another routine revenge saga with loud and clichéd sequences. Too many action sequences in the film only lead to confusion. Each and every conversation between the father and hero son is interrupted by a fight sequence. The entertainment factor is missing

Director Sunil Reddy has concentrated more on the 3D shots, and had the director put half the focus on screenplay, Om could have been a safe project. Though there are a couple of good twists in the second half, the director fails in taking the proceedings forward. Despite just 2 hours run time, the film doesn’t fail to impress.

Story

Story takes off with Krishna (Prince) narrating his story. He is a graduation student who is in search of his soulmate with some restrictions like a virgin girl and doesn’t believe in pre-marital sex. He comes across two women in which he wants to select a better character girl. He sees Lalitha aka Lola(Manasa) and gets attracted to her. He becomes close to Lola but later opines she is not right for him and ditches her for another girl Anuradha(Dimple). By the times, he feels Anuradha is the better girl for him the former starts on a mission to test Krishna back. What happens next forms the rest.

Performances

Prince is charming while his performance was good. But it’s better for the young lad to choose the scripts with care.

Dimple Chopade can barely act but has the sex appeal which she did her bit. Manasa was decent in her performances but lookswise she hasn’t scored much.

Sai as Bluetooth bobby, Venu Madhav brings few smiles here and there while others were there to fill the space.

Technical Analysis

Cinematography has nothing to boast of while the editing is jerky. Swamy not only fails as director but his dialogues also fail to impress. A couple of songs are good while the background score is pretty mediocre. Production values are standard.

Analysis

The story is wafer-thin, neither the screenplay is impressive. The humor elements hardly impress and the dialogues are unattractive and looked c-grade. Swamy fails in his direction. Maruthi’s earlier films Ee Rojullo, Bus Stop though had adult comedy and double-entendre dialogues, the films have done well due to its plot and youth appeal, but Romance neither has a plot nor comedy but it’s packed with disgusting and sleazy content like guy testing girl’s virginity and character while the girl ends up testing a guy in girl’s hostel. Such scenes test the audiences patience. It’s not the romance, not the love story but plain trash. The title is misleading giving the impression of youthful love entertainer, but it’s totally crap with lust factor and double-entendre as main theme. The film has managed to create good hype with its title and promotions, but the makers fail to reach the hype.

Adult rated film with vulgarity at its best!!!

Story

Performances

Ram Charan has got totally performance-oriented role in this story driven film. As always his dances are a treat to watch out for his body language is impressive in the fights. Charan delivers a neat performance though he could’ve emoted more. His scenes with Jayasudha are impressive.

Allu Arjun does justice to his role and his role is vital to the main plot, Kajal Agarwal is beautiful in cameo and she did her role with ease.

Shruti Haasan is gorgeous but she doesn’t have much scope for performance and is limited to songs. Amy Jackson is glamorous in the song.

Sai Kumar is an asset in the second half, Jaya Sudha is very impressive, Kota Srinivasa Rao leaves his mark, Brahmanandam is wasted in poor role. Rahul Dev is good. Others are adequate.

Technical Analysis

Devi Sri Prasad musical scores are okay but he leaves his mark with background scores which is one of the biggest assets for Yevadu. Ram Prasad’s cinematography is first-class. Editing is neat although not great. Vamsi Paidipally direction is good. He narrates the film with conviction. Screenplay is gripping though predictable. Abburi Ravi’s dialogues are impressive. Choreography needs a special mention especially for the Freedom song Production values by Sri Venkateswara Creations are rich.

Analysis

Despite the novel storyline, Vamsi Paidipally made Yevadu a safe project with tried and tested formula, unique plot in commercial format. Yevadu has gripping screenplay yet routine treatment. The main asset of the film is the cast performances be it the leads or supporting cast like Sai Kumar, Jayasudha are perfect. The first fifteen minutes is crucial for the movie and the major plot gets revealed though later proceedings get predictable. Interval bang is handled pretty well providing wide scope for latter half. The second half is the key to the film and Ram Charan- Sai Kumar confrontation scenes, Jayasudha’s performance; DSP’s BGM does the magic. On a flip note, comedy never works in favor of the film and climax could’ve been effective. All in all, Yevadu has few thrills, good dances, entertaining action episodes and the needed glamour quotient to attract the B, C centers audiences while the A centers may feel it a predictable and routine revenge saga. With the right blend of action, effective twists and commercial elements, Yevadu makes a decent watch.

Story

Rahman (Ram) and his sister Sania (Anjali) lose their ancestral property legally and so they head to Bheemarajapuram village as their uncle MS Narayana advises Rahman to work for his employer Balaram (Venkatesh), a landlord. In a panic situation, Rahman lies about his identity near Balram who doesn’t tolerate cheating or dishonesty. To cover up a lie, Rahman makes a series of cover-ups and how does Balaram finds his truth forms the crux.

Performances

Venkatesh is brilliant and he pulled off the comedy scenes with amazing ease. He plays his role with excellence it’s a treat to watch him rendering butler English dialogues with quick sense of comic timing. Venkatesh is back to his forte wholesome family entertainer with Masala.

Ram is a revelation. He is good at comic timing and delivering witty one liners. His role as gay and interval block dance episode are hilarious.

Anjali is decent and has a good screen presence but she didn’t have ample role to perform. Shazahn Padamsee is okay and manages to give a noticeable impression in few scenes.

Ali, Jaya Prakash Reddy, MS Narayana are hilarious, Kovai Sarala is loud, Posani is okay and the rest did their bit required.

Technical Analysis

Thaman’s musical scores are mediocre and a couple of songs Ninnu Chudani, Meenakshi are good on-screens. Cinematography is neat while Anil Ravipudi’s dialogues are hilariously entertaining. Screenplay and editing could’ve been better. Production Values are just ok.

Analysis

Masala as expected is formulaic packed with entertainment and fun elements. Vijay Bhaskar has stuck to the original Bol Bachchan script and hasn’t made any major changes. Masala is the carbon copy of Bol Bachchan and it sticks to the genre mass entertainer.

The first half moves at good pace and is enjoyable for its comedy here and there but it’s the second half which has much engrossing elements. The dialogues are quite entertaining and Venkatesh, Ram, Jaya Prakash Reddy rocked the screens with their good comic timing. The action sequences however are poorly choreographed. Masala had several clichés with confusion dramas that were seen in recent comedy releases, yet the screenplay packed with entertainment and silly gags works for the movie.

Venkatesh, Ram’s performances, Anil Ravipudi’s dialogues and entertaining scenes are assets for the film while actions scenes, poor VFX works and weak climax are the negative points.

Final Verdict

Masala is decent enough to entertain comedy film lovers, provided you don’t look for logics…

Performances:

Ashok Selvan lived up to audiences expectations and has delivered a matured performance as a writer. With his dialogue delivery and expressions, Ashok will reach heights if he signs suitable scripts in future.

Sanchita Shetty has done her parts well and as a painting student who is blessed to see such efficient art, her expressions are good.

Naasar and SJ Surya’s cameo are unexpected and fine as well.

Technical Analysis:

Deepan Chakrravarthy has given a promising debut with Pizza 2: Villa, but fails to keep up to the horror quotient compared to Pizza being a sequel, though his screenplay is neat and keeps up to his script.

Santosh Narayanan has sustained his own margins and proved he is unparalleled once again. Pizza 2: Villa audio is already a hit and Santosh has scored an apt background for thriller script.

Deepak Kumar Pathy has excelled with his camera works, which is one of the highlights of Pizza 2: Villa. And VFX works are worth mentioning, especially the scenes of corpse in pre-climax speaks about technical excellence in the film.

As  Villa - Pizza 2 is only of 1hr 43mins running time there is no unnecessary glamour segment and perfectly sticks to the script.

Analysis:

Pizza 2: The Villa is more a scientific invention than horror thriller and exactly nothing to do with Pizza. One will surely have a thought of this as Villa - Pizza 2 is being promoted as Pizza sequel and a horror film.

Technical crew of Villa - Pizza 2 lead by director Deepan Chakravarthy has done great job, not only script wise but also visually far above compared to big budget and stardom movies. Director has precisely depicted his research works on positive and negative energies in the initial scenes and the way Ashok Selvan exposes link between his father’s paintings and his life are intelligent.

Compared to first half of Pizza 2, second half garners more attention with high visual effects and disclosing earth shattering truths. Interval bang and climax shot are not to miss aspects. In fact whole movie needs your attention so that you don’t miss the thrill. Real treat if you see the movie without expectations.

Story

Ramya (Anushka), a doctor falls for Madhu Balakrishna (Arya) who is a lecturer and philanthropic person in the first instance. Ramya proposes Madhu but the latter rejects it though he realizes later. On the other hand, a different story between the two runs parallel in second(fantasy) world where people don’t experience love. Varna (Anushka) here is a tribal girl and Mahendra (Arya) commander chief’s son who woos Varna. The rest forms the story.

Performances

Despite the leads putting in their efforts for their roles, it looked pale on-screens due to the weak characterizations,

Anushka as Ramya has performed well while her characterization as Varna wasn’t etched properly and it’s just not Anushka’s cup of tea.

Arya tried his best for the two characters as Madhu and Mahendra but in vain. Ashok Kumar is noticeable and others filled the screens.

Technical Analysis

Ramji’s cinematography is good and Harris Jayaraj’s musical scores are ear pleasing. Anirudh Ravichander did a fine job for the background score. Action scenes are ordinary while the VFX works are good. Direction is bad, screenplay is terrible, narration is confusing, Editing is inconsistent. Production Values are rich.

Analysis

With a bond love in two different worlds of realistic and fiction, Selvaraghavan has come up with unconventional yet unconvincing storyline. But the script is shabby and terribly executed. The entire plot gets revealed in the first hour and Selva fails to engage the audiences with the proceedings. Screenplay is pathetic and the character developments are quite weak. Also the two stories are loosely connected that the feel goes totally missing. Added to it, the lip sync goes missing for the Telugu version which further tests the patience.

The twists and turns never takeoff or offer us some surprise in this fantasy genre film. In the end, audiences only wonder what exactly is the story!!! PVP Cinemas has spent a bomb on this experimental project. The only positives are lavish technical values and VFX works. Despite 18 months in production, star cast, lavish production values and eccentric director Selvaraghavan, Varna is not worth the wait!!!

The family boards Venkatadri Express train for Sundeep’s elder brother Brahmaji’s wedding. Sundeep misses the train and he tries his best to catch the train from being banned from his family. How does his journey happen form the rest.

Performances

Sundeep Kishan does a decent job and is impressive in the first half. He is apt for the role and there are good action scenes for him.

Rakul Preet look cute and she does her part well with in the limited role she had. Nagineedu is first-class, Brahmaji is entertaining, Thagubothu Ramesh is hilarious, Sapthagiri as Dasthagiri excelled, MS Narayana is boring. Others were adequate.

Technical Analysis

Chota K Naidu’s cinematography is first-rate while Ramana Gogula’s music is impressive and Mella Mellaga song is shot well. Direction by debutant Merlapaka Gandhi is commendable. Screenplay is neat and racy especially in the first-half. Editing is neat and dialogues are impressive. Production values are standard.

Analysis

Venkatadri Express has wafer thin storyline but director’s treatment worked well and it doesn’t go off the track. Screenplay is racy and the situational comedy works well in the first half.

Debutant Merlapaka Gandhi proves his mettle with the debut film. Emotional scenes and father-son plot were handled quite well. Thagubothu Ramesh and Saptagiri comedy scenes were at peaks that it’s fun watching them. Twists in the second half were handled well though it the second hour was a bit lengthy and predictable at times. First half of the film is quite good that it raises your expectations but the second half may disappoint due to predictability and abrupt climax episodes. All in all, Venkatadri Express is a fun watch despite its flaws, and coming from a debutant director, we call it a commendable attempt.

Final Verdict

Good comedy and taut screenplay makes Venkatadri Express a fun journey, despite very few flaws.

To divert Cherry, Siddhu links Anjali to Cherry but Bujji (Ajay) an evilious man who plans to marry her bashes up Cherry and this leads a fight between Siddhu and Indu. How does Siddhu fights against Bujji and wins his love is the rest of the story.

Performances

Sudheer Babu looked good and his dances are impressive. He has improves in his expressions and carried of the role with ease. Asmitha Sood gets a vital role but she is poor in her performance. Poonam Kaur is just okay. Ajay is perfect as villain, Ranadir Gatla is impressive. Suman, Naresh characters could've been etched well. Others are adequate.

Technical Analysis

Music is mediocre and the background score is so-so. Cinematography by Santonio Terzio has nothing to boast of. Padmasri Nandyala's dialogues are good. Action sequences are neatly choreographed. Krishnareddy Gangadhasu direction is not up to the mark, screenplay is bland. Editing is poor. Production values are okay.

Analysis

Aadu Magadraa Bujji is not a unique or fresh story rather we've seen many similar lined movies in Telugu before. For a wafer thin storyline to click, there needs to be entertaining dialogues, taut screenplay and gripping narration. Sadly, neither of these work for Aadu Magadraa Bujji and the film fell flat on its face. Although the first half is a bit okay with some hilarious scenes involving dog, the second half is quite boring with dull narration, added to it the proceeding drag on and on. The scenes lacked continuity and the second half dips down and even the twists sparks no interest to you. The director failed to utilize the cast with poorly etched characterizations. Barring few hilarious dog scenes, Aadu Magadraa Bujji doesn’t really hold your attention.

Story

Santhosh and Deepu (Dhanya Balakrishna) falls in love but eventually the latter ends up marrying a rich guy Mounish and the former hates women due to her. Subbarao on the other hand loves Swetcha (Dhanya Balakrishna) but she is more attracted towards the physical relationship with her ex-lover. Also there is Sahasra (Dhanya Balakrishna) who ends up in confusion with whom she has two choose between a friend or a lover Chaitu and Siddhu. How doctor (Posan Krishna Murali) resolves the problems forms the rest.

Performances

Dhanya Balakrishna is extremely good in all three different roles. Her expressions are apt and the she manages to play the roles with ease.

Kireeti is fun to watch and he has got finest moments in the film. Vishnu Vardhan is decent and fits well for the role while Anuj is good too. Posani Krishna Murali is just okay. Others are adequate.

Technical Analysis

Cinematography could have been better. Music is decent and so is the background score. Kishore Tirumala’s direction has innovativeness and screenplay is gripping though it could have been impressive in the second half. Dialogues are the biggest asset of Second Hand. SR Sekkhar’s editing is neat. Production values are not up to mark.

Analysis

Second Hand starts off with interesting characterizations, peppy dialogues and refreshing screenplay though second half spoils it. The film deals with inter-personal relationships in realistic manner that connects well with youth. Director Kishore Tirumala has penned interesting lines. However, Second Hand have its own flaws with amateurish script though supported by decent writing. The third story lacks the needed zing like the stories of Santhosh and Subbarao and thus resulted in dragged slow pace with unnecessary melodrama in second half despite exciting interval bang. If the film could have been dealt in a clean way rather than adult comedy, it might have garnered other sections of audiences. Had the director planned for a clever screenplay in the second half too like the first hour, it would have helped the film’s tempo.

After attending a showroom opening launch, Sudheer and Pasau cmes across Maya (Mandy Takhar) and accompanies her in a hotel. They get drunk only to find that they have been trapped in a murder case of Varadharajulu the next day. How does Sudheer get out of the mess forms the rest.

Performances

Karthi was offered different shaded roles and he delivers an impressive performance. He looks charming.

Hansika looks beautiful but she is limited to a small role. Mandy Thakar looks hot and did justice to her role.

Premgi goes over the top, Nasser is decent, Ramky, Sampath are perfect and others are adequate.

Technical Analysis

Cinematography by Sakthi Saravanan is brilliant while Yuvan’s musical scores are impressive. Background score elevates the proceedings. Dialouses are hilarious, Script has some loopholes though screenplay is striking at times. Dubbing for Telugu version could be better. Production values by Studio Green are standard.

Analysis

Biriyani starts off well with impressive hero characterization and scenes between Karthi, Premgi are a laugh riot but too much lagging makes first half a bit boring. Though the proceedings picks up pace before the interval, few vital sequences looked unconvincing in second half. Climax is yet another disappointment. Logic has gone for a toss and it looked unconvincing on how the hero resolves the problem. The film has lot of Tamil flavor and dubbing wasn’t apt. The story has resemblances to Hangover. Nevertheless, the comedy scenes are entertaining and few gripping episodes maintaining suspense factor will engage the audiences.

Final Verdict

This Biriyani lacks the needed spice!!!

Gautam (Mahesh Babu) is a rock star, who has dark past and is haunted by nightmares. When he was a child, his parents get killed and all he remembers is the murderers faces through nightmares. Imagining a person to be one of the murderers he chases him and takes revenge by killing him. However, he later realizes that it is just his hallucination and he is suffering from psychological disorder. Gautam meanwhile meets Sameera (Kriti Sanon), a journalist who helps him to find his answers. What happens next forms the rest.

Performances

It’s Mahesh Babu’s show all the way. He moulds himself for this unique role putting in maximum efforts. Mahesh has terrific screen presence and with the intensity he does few scenes is really appealing.

Newbie Kriti Sanon looks good though she hasn’t had much scope for performance. Kriti’s moves in Aww Tuzo are superb.

Kelly Dorjee and Nasser did their roles well. Gautam Krishna looks smart and is quite good. Sophie Chowdary sizzles in item song. Posani is impressive in a cameo.

Technical Analysis

Cinematography by Ratnavelu is major asset. Visuals are amazing. DSP’s music is on top notch. BGM elevates the crucial scenes. Dialogues are gripping. Action scenes are brilliantly shot. Editing is poor. Sukumar’s direction is okay while screenplay is complex. 14 Reels production values are rich.

Analysis

It’s Mahesh Babu’s show all the way. His terrific screen presence is the saving grace of the film. 1 is the story of a distressed child who sees his parents being killed at young age. He doesn’t remember his parents faces, but in the form of nightmares he memorizes faces of killers.

1 Nenokkadine psychological play game and Sukumar makes an intellectual effort in few of the scenes, especially the twists and the interval bang are extremely good. The interval bang at the doubt of realism or vision is well-framed. Scenes of Mahesh trying to fathom if his vision is indeed true including few twists in the second half are impressive.

1 Nenokkadine is technically good though graphics could have been much better. Camera work is on top notch thanks to Ratnavelu and 14 Reels Production values. DSP’s music is extremely good but the placement hampers the flow.

First half is slow paced, it’s only at the interval the pace picks up but the bang is perfect. Few Goa episode scenes could have been trimmed. The second half picks up pace though it could have been much more effective instead of lengthy chases which neither adds thrill factor. Climax is unnecessarily dragged. The entertainment factors are missing and run length plays the spoil sport. Sukumar has taken the simple plot to complex screenplay but couldn’t handle it.

Story

Four young friends Raju, Vicky, Harish, Bannu (Varun Sandesh, Sundeep Kishan, Naveen and Rakesh) who are in financial troubles plan for bank robbery. With a pre-planned sketch, they enter the bank with dummy weapons sporting masks and execute the robbery. Though it works initially, they get trapped in a complicated situation with cops surrounding them. The rest of the story forms the crux.

Performances

Both Varun Sandesh and Sundeep Kishan did their respective roles well. Melanie is just okay.

Naveen is decent enough and leaves his mark. Debutant actor Rakesh is entertaining. Devakatta as IPS officer delivers fine performance, Rishi Muvva as Chevulapilli is impressive. Other notable roles are essayed by Tanikella Bharani, Pruthvi, Raj Pippala, Fish Venkat. Nani’s voiceover in establishing characterizations is good and his song in the climax was shot well.

Technical Analysis

Cinematography is mediocre while the music by Mahesh Shankar is a bit impressive. Dialogues fail to impress. Sriraj Kalla’s fails in direction department despite interesting concept. Screenplay is uninteresting while the presentation is tedious. Editing isn’t consistent. Production values are okay.

Analysis

Though D For Dopidi takes off well initially with good number of funny moments, it loses pace with the proceedings and fails to grab your attention. Logic goes for a toss big time and the proceedings look silly and absurd. The film drags on and on in the second half. While the first half is a bit okay, it’s hard to sail through the second half. The script is simple on bank robbery and for such storylines, either gripping narration or entertaining quotient works. Sadly, D For Dopidi doesn’t offer enough of the two. The writers could have executed thrilling moments a way better and also, the fun factor is plainly missing despite good characterizations. The key robbery scenes are not handled well. In addition, the climax is so boring.

Story

Suri (Raj Tarun) and Uma Devi (Avika Gor) are cousins who live in a typical Konaseema village. The duo doesn’t get along and fights for silly reasons. Suri is poor who lives with widowed mother (Anita) while Uma Devi family is a settled one. When financial standards become a hurdle for the couple, what does Suri ? Will Suri admit his love for Uma Devi.

Performances

Raj Tharun has ‘the boy next door’ looks but he has acted with ease. His expressions and the Godavari slang are apt for his role.

Avika Gor who is popular as Chinnari Pelli Kooturu performs well as village belle. Like Raj Tharun, she is picture perfect for the role.

Among the other cast, Anitha scores well, Ravi Varma bags a substantial role, Gangadhar and Punarnavi are good in their respective roles.

Technical Analysis

Cinematography is on top-notch and the village locales have been shot well making it a pleasant watch. Sunny’s musical scores are enjoyable while the background score elevates emotional scenes in the second half. Editing is crisp and neat. Virinchi Varma’s direction is good, as a first timer, he leaves is mark in direction department. Dialogues are impressive.

Analysis

Uyyala Jampala is set in a village backdrop and offers a pleasant experience. Debutant director Virinchi Varma leaves his mark as director though it had its own flaws. The genre or the story is not new to Telugu audiences as we have seen similar films of two youngsters realizing their love after growing up together and sharing love-hate relationship. Nuvve Kavali, Nuvvu Leka Nenu Lenu are similar such stories but what makes Uyyala Jampala different from the formers is the village backdrop and pleasant viewing experience. The dialogues are natural and characters are quite near to real-life.

While the first half offers entertainment with cousins fights and silly revenges, the second half offers emotional quotient and the pre-climax is impressive with heart-warming dialogues. The film had its own flaws with pace drops here and there, and the abrupt climax end. Also, the second half is too predictable without thrills.

Nevertheless, Clean entertainment, lead performances and the pleasant village backdrop locales makes Uyyala Jampala a pleasant watch.

To divert Cherry, Siddhu links Anjali to Cherry but Bujji (Ajay) an evilious man who plans to marry her bashes up Cherry and this leads a fight between Siddhu and Indu. How does Siddhu fights against Bujji and wins his love is the rest of the story.

Performances

Sudheer Babu looked good and his dances are impressive. He has improves in his expressions and carried of the role with ease. Asmitha Sood gets a vital role but she is poor in her performance. Poonam Kaur is just okay. Ajay is perfect as villain, Ranadir Gatla is impressive. Suman, Naresh characters could've been etched well. Others are adequate.

Technical Analysis

Music is mediocre and the background score is so-so. Cinematography by Santonio Terzio has nothing to boast of. Padmasri Nandyala's dialogues are good. Action sequences are neatly choreographed. Krishnareddy Gangadhasu direction is not up to the mark, screenplay is bland. Editing is poor. Production values are okay.

Analysis

Aadu Magadraa Bujji is not a unique or fresh story rather we've seen many similar lined movies in Telugu before. For a wafer thin storyline to click, there needs to be entertaining dialogues, taut screenplay and gripping narration. Sadly, neither of these work for Aadu Magadraa Bujji and the film fell flat on its face. Although the first half is a bit okay with some hilarious scenes involving dog, the second half is quite boring with dull narration, added to it the proceeding drag on and on. The scenes lacked continuity and the second half dips down and even the twists sparks no interest to you. The director failed to utilize the cast with poorly etched characterizations. Barring few hilarious dog scenes, Aadu Magadraa Bujji doesn’t really hold your attention.
